Martina Hauser

Martina Hauser is the founder of 7 Hills, a touristic property management firm dedicated to creating and designing sustainable systems within Montenegro’s tourism industry. Martina and 7 Hills partner with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to integrate refugees into society by hiring and influencing the legalizing displaced people in Montenegro. She is an entrepreneur and strategic, economic leader in long-term development of sustainable resources and methods within business and organizational sectors. Martina has been recognized for her contribution in discovering the carbon footprint within organizations across transportation, fashion and bottling industries around the world for the betterment of employees and customers of these products and services. In honor of her contribution to improving healthy work and living conditions throughout the Balkan region and Italy, Martina was awarded the KNIGHTHOOD OF ITALY “CAVALLERE DEL LAVORO” by former president Carlo Azgelio Ciampi.  She is now focusing these same efforts within the tourism industry as the CEO of Villa Perast, Bed and Bike, Eco Cottage in Kotor, and other riverside and lakeside properties. 
Prior to starting 7 Hills, Martina led teams in sustainability efforts as a city counselor for the city of Cosenza, organizing efforts to provide renewable energy and environmental education, and as Senior Program Manager for the Italian Ministry of the Environment overseeing national teams, cooperative dual country teams within Montenegro and Italy, and collective regional teams throughout Central and Eastern Europe. During these years, she was Carbon Footprint project team leader for developing sustainable strategies in Brazil’s TRACES pilot project and Egypt’s EL GOUNA CARBON NEUTRAL CITY project. Through her professional guidance and investment into team members and other team leaders, Martina’s vision for healthy sustainability has contributed to her involvement with mentoring ambitious, focused professionals in addition to economic, natural resource development.
